On June 24, 2010, ten adult literacy students will receive Sheree Fitch Adult Learner Scholarships from the Literacy Coalition of New Brunswick (LCNB). Sheree Fitch, Honourary Patron of the LCNB, will give out the awards which recognize hard work and success in the face of many challenges. Internationally acclaimed author and native of Fredericton, Sheree Fitch, is one of Canada's strongest advocates for literacy. Each student will receive a one-hundred dollar scholarship plus a gift of books.
